Now being the conscientious coffee lovers that we are, we couldn’t let all of this great technology be wasted with traditional paper coffee filters. Before offering these amazing machines, we searched out a great permanent metal filter that would allow all of the flavor and body of your gourmet coffee to come through. We are proud to offer Swiss Gold stainless permanent filters to complement your machine. The difference is dramatic and we feel that the use of a quality metal filter is crucial to obtaining the performance these machines are capable of. The Swiss Gold commercial filters come with their own unique filter basket with a repositionable handle and differently dimensioned sides so that it will fit many brands of commercial machines. For optimal performance, AquaBrew machines are designed to be used with filtered or bottled water. Check out our filter accessories. Of course we must not forget the importance of the freshest roasted gourmet beans – ours are roasted to order and a perfect match for these machines.
HOW TO ORDER:
Ala Carte: The base price is for the brewer only with no carafe. If purchasing the brewer alone, you will need to add one or more Avantro carafes. You may choose either the US190 that features a site glass in the handle that shows the level of coffee in the carafe or the less expensive PS200 that has a black handle. The brewer alone does include a filter basket for use with paper filters, but does not inlcude a swissgold permanent filter. Scale grenade and water filter are also additional.
Starter Set: The starter set includes the brewer, one Avantro US190 carafe. The paper filter basket is still included from Aquabrew.
Enhanced Starter Sets: We also offer starter sets with a scale grenade installed or with the scale grenade and water filtration system installed. We STRONGLY recommend the addition of a scale grenade to protect your investment. Plumbed models cannot be cleaned easily like a pour over since there is no reservoir to pour cleaner into. The use of a scale grenade greatly reduces scale buildup and can greatly extend the life of your machine. The water filter is recommended if you do not currently have filtration on your water supply. Better tasting water will produce better tasting coffee. The water filter will also reduce sedement that can harm your machine. Filters come installed when purchased with configuration options listed below.
Remember: Purchase additional carafes for increased capacity or to brew different varieties of coffee. Since the carafes are thermal insulated, they do not require a burner and can be placed anywhere that is convenient. The more carafes you have, the more you can brew - one pot right after another.
Keep in mind, if you choose the ala carte option, the water filter you would need to purchase is the complete set that includes the mounting bracket and one filter cartidge. The replacement filter by itself can't be used without the mounting bracket. The scale grenade does not require any additional brackets. If not sure, your best bet is to order a starter set that comes completely configured per your order.
