The Cona D Vacuum Coffee Maker is considered by many aficionados to be the finest vacuum coffee brewer available. Some love the beautiful construction that makes it a work of art. Some love the all glass brewing process � coffee never touches metal or plastic as in other vacuum brewers. Even the unique filter (drainer) is glass. All love the flavor from the vacuum brewing process - brewing at optimum temperature with ultimate control. The coffee is full flavored and full bodied without the sediment found with a French press. The design evokes the romance of the past and is sure to be a conversation piece. The Cona allows you to brew right at the table since the heat is provided by the spirit lamp. It is also perfect for setting the mood at an intimate dinner party. The flame is fueled by denatured alcohol (not included � but widely available). The Cona D is the largest size in the Cona series and brews up to 1 quart (approximately equivalent to an 8 cup drip coffee maker). The elegant design features a sweeping arm that also conveniently holds the top brewing chamber after the brewing process is complete. Gold Finish (Also available in chrome)
