Switch the top and the French Press Plus doubles as a hot water kettle. This new French Press, electric - yet cordless, insures perfect control of brewing temperature for better than ever flavor and aroma of coffee and tea. "Boil & Press™" feature boils water in same carafe subsequently used to brew the coffee or tea. New solid state heating element boils water faster than the stove or microwave and eliminates the cool-down that occurs with other French presses when boiling-water is transferred to the cold carafe. Hence brewing occurs at optimum temperature for full flavor extraction. The French Press Plus automatically shuts off power when water reaches a full boil; incorporates double boil-dry safety shutoff protection.

This versatile unit comes with an extra lid for use as a hot pot electric hot water kettle. the take-to-table carafe lifts cord-free from power source for elegant serving.
