The ESPRESSIONE PROFESSIONAL XP1 semi-commercial espresso machine is produced in Italy by Grimac, a leader in espresso makers with a wealth of knowledge stemming from more than thirty years of experience in the coffee sector. This highly polished stainless steel machine features commercial quality components throughout and is well suited for small restaurants, hotels, and cafes, and of course, use by the upscale consumer. The XP1 Professional can easily produce many continuous espressos and cappuccinos due to two different systems for extracting espresso and steaming milk. The XP1 uses a boiler and heat exchanger system just like many larger commercial machines. The boiler provides steam for frothing and heats the water lines that provide the hot water for espresso. This system provides instantaneous and powerful steam for frothing and steaming milk plus, in conjunction with the large commercial filter handle, better thermal stability for brewing espresso. This system also prevents cross contamination of brewing water with milk from steaming. ESE adaptable for use with ground coffee or coffee servings (pods)!
